The Province of Ontario has issued an emergency stay-at-home order requiring that public libraries, in addition to all non-essential businesses, may serve their customers at curbside only during this time.

In accordance with these Provincial guidelines, effective Thursday, April 8, 2021, Brampton Library’s in-branch services at Chinguacousy, Four Corners, and Springdale Branch Libraries will cease. All 8 branches will offer Curbside PIckup of held materials, Book Bundles, and Grab ‘n’ Go bags.

These changes will be in effect throughout the Provincial Emergency and Stay-at-Home Order and will be re-evaluated when restrictions are lifted. Days and times of service vary by location, so please visit our Holds Pickup page for more information.
